Promote community giving, raise awareness and provide free and low-cost capacity building programs and services specifically for small and local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations.
Our philosophy is based on, "Give a man a fish, feed him for a day; Teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime." We help those doing good to do good better!

Imagine business leaders, keynote speakers, professors, and companies with expertise in everything from accounting to volunteer management sharing their expertise with small and local nonprofits for FREE!
DoingGoodWeek.org is a week-long conference designed to meet the specific needs of small (under $1MM annual budget) and local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and is offered FREE of charge!
Mirrored after the success of the Startup Community's startup weekends and weeks, this conference offers seminars, trainings, panel discussions and workshops on topics ranging in everything from accounting to volunteer management! We also provide social events for these smaller nonprofits to get to know one another and hopefully promote more collaboration within the nonprofit sector.
Nationally, small nonprofits, those with an annual budget under $1MM account for 55% of nonprofits in the U.S. These nonprofits have very limited resources, human and others, in order to meet their missions. Formerly, Denver Gives, the Doing Good Foundation seeks to not just help smaller nonprofits in the Greater Denver Metro area, but all small nonprofits throughout Colorado and the U.S.!
As one of our Doing Good Week attendees stated, "“[DGW] provided professional development and a great personal learning experience. It also rejuvenated me and made me excited about my work again!”
With trends in giving, corporate social responsibility and social enterprise, nonprofits, especially smaller ones, need help to grow and develop as an organization in order to continue to help meet our local community needs. Help us help them!

We are looking for young professionals that would like to leverage their volunteer time to not just help one charity, but thousands, all at once! Do you have knowledge or expertise and would like to share that with small charities? Do you love throwing great parties? Do you love planning and executing events or conferences? Do you love connecting people to their communities? If so, we might be the organization for you!
Help us empower those empowering our local communities!

Funding Needs
We are changing our name from Denver Gives to the Doing Good Foundation, providing the same services, but now able to provide them in more cities in Colorado! This year we would like to have our best year yet! In addition to providing over 500 small nonprofits with DoingGoodWeek free of charge, we are also providing monthly trainings as well! We will also be bringing in TEDtalk Global speaker Dan Pallotta to provide his "Bolder Boards" training to our small, local nonprofit board members! With you help we will be able to provide resources to over 1,000 small nonprofits this year, helping more animals, children, veterans, and others in need in our local communities! Leverage your donated dollar and help thousands, not just one!
We would also like to update our branding to reflect our new organization name and structure, as we move from Denver Gives to the Doing Good Foundation, giving us the opportunity to reach more communities!
